Delve into the Maldives’ theatrical underwater world with Ocean Paradise Dive Centre – a PADI-certified outlet operating on the island. Many renowned dive sites, such as Banana, HP or Rainbow Reef, Okobe Thila, Nassimo Thila, Maagiri and Manta Point are a short boat ride away from our resort.

Multilingual expert instructors run day and night dives and courses for all levels. As the 9th most environmentally responsible dive centre in Asia, the team takes environmental practices seriously – you can even join a science dive and collect data for the likes of SharkWatch and the Manta Trust.

For those who have never dived before, try a Discover Scuba Diving session, which takes just three hours to complete.

Snorkeling

Be amazed by the richness and variety that exists in the surrounding shimmering waters of our resort. Just standing on the edge of our timber boardwalks, you can easily spot small sharks and schools of brightly coloured fish.

Marine Biology Shack

The Resort Veshi, which translates as the resort Environment in the local Dhivehi language, is the island’s primary marine research facility and the central hub for all sustainability and conservation issues, as well as offering a host of new guest experiences.

• Located directly on the beach and open for breakfast and dinner, Kashiveli – which translates as ‘coral sands’ in the local Dhivehi language – embodies locally-sourced, nutritious ingredients and vibrant flavours through a marriage of land and ocean. Breakfasts celebrate the region’s wide variety of fresh tropical fruits with an ever-changing array of smoothies, juices and fresh fruit plates made to order, as well as traditionally Maldivian offerings such as Mas Huni and international favourites. COVID-19 Measures

Please inquire for updated measures, as these may be out of date depending on the progression of the pandemic

With effect from 27th December 2020, an additional measure will be implemented by the resort team to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our guests and hosts during this time. All guests arriving from another tourist facility within the Maldives, will be required to take a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test 48 hours prior to arriving at our resort. The negative test results should be sent to our reservations team for verification before any inter-resort movement of guests will be permitted.

Your health and safety is our highest priority at this resort in the Maldives. These measures aim to safeguard the wellbeing of hosts, guests and partners by reducing the risk of COVID-19 exposure at the resort.

The Resort Cares Plan is designed in full compliance with the guidelines provided by the Ministry of Tourism ‘Guideline for Restarting Tourism in the Maldives’, the Ministry of Health ‘Public Health Interventions to prevent COVID-19 Transmission in the Tourism Sector’ and Hotel Properties Limited (HPL) Hotels & Resorts ‘Care, Clean and Compliance policy’.

• Temperature Checks: For all guests and hosts upon arrival, departure as well as when required.
• Protective Face Mask: To be worn by all hosts indoors at all times as well as public areas where social distancing is not possible.
• Hand Sanitizers: Are available in all public areas and at entrance of restrooms.
• Social Distancing: Of 3 feet or 1 meter apart is recommended at all times through visual markers and guidance of hosts.
• Luggage Sanitization: Upon arrival and departure.
• Resort CARES (WELCOME HYGIENE KIT): Including facial masks, hand sanitizer and thermometer will be placed in your villa for each guest and replenished as required.
• Mini Bar Amenities: Will remain the same. Customization of mini bar items is available upon request.
• In-Villa Dining: Available with social distancing and hygiene protocols. Face masks required for all hosts entering occupied guest villas.
• Suspended Self-Service Buffet Experience: At live cooking stations, guests will be served by chefs. Food orders will also be taken by servers and brought to the table upon request.
• Dining At Restaurants: With social distancing protocols.
• Cleaning And Disinfecting: Frequency will be increases for high-touch frequency surfaces in all public areas such as restrooms, tables and chairs at restaurants and buggies.
